I have just received official information from the Ufficio Filatelico e Numismatico Vaticano on the issuance of the first 2-euro coin commemorating this 2017, dedicated to the "1950th anniversary of the martyrdom of St. Peter and St. Paul", coin issued on the 1st of June, coined in two qualities, BU and Proof, at the price, for subscribers, 18 and 37 euros respectively, plus shipping costs. 

The motif depicted on the coin shows St. Peter and St. Paul and their symbols, keys and sword, respectively. At the top is the inscription "CITTÀ DEL VATICANO", in semicircumference. At the bottom, in semicircumference, the inscription "1950º DEL MARTIRIO DEI SANTI PIETRO E PAOLO" appears. At the bottom left is the year of issue, '2017', and in the lower right is the mintmark, 'R'. In the middle is the name of the artist «G. TITOTTO '.
