The first German currency of 5 euros, from the series climatic zones, in which the polymer as part of the same, dedicated to the Tropical Zone and corresponding to 2017 and has a design that can see is used. Design that has been revealed in this day by the German Finance Ministry.

The reverse design shows a parrot as a symbol of biodiversity in the tropics flying over some trees. The red ring defines the transition to an open space where other birds at greater distances and the words are displayed in German Tropical Zone ".
On the obverse an eagle, the word "Federal Republic of Germany", the face value "5 euro" is shown, 2017, the twelve European stars and, depending on the mint, the mark of the Mint "A" (Berlin), "D" (Munich), "F" (Stuttgart), "G" (Karlsruhe) or "J" (Hamburg).
Particularly this coin was disappointed, I think it is not up to the first. Hopefully with better quality images, or real coins things improve. More incentives must be given to the collector, not worth us that has a polymer ring, the design must be worked much more and be much more attractive.

The currency of 5 euros "Tropical Zone" consists of two copper-nickel alloys different and a ring of translucent polymer. It has a weight of 9 grams and is produced in two grades of minting, BU and Proof.
BU quality coins will go on sale at nominal value (5 euros) in the Federal Bank of Germany. Proof coins with finish will be sold for a higher price, to be determined.
