The Suomen Rahapaja, Mint of Finland, presented the third coin of 5 euros bimetal of the series dedicated to Presidents of Finland, with dedication to that he was president thirdly, since independizase in 1917. Pehr Evind Svinhufvud held office between the years 1931-1937.
Issuance is scheduled for August 25. This and all of the series, designed by Tero Lounas, can be purchased at BU and Proof quality. The series consists of eight pieces that are issued between 2016 and 2017.
The obverse of the coin features the portrait of President Pehr Svinhufvud Evind, his name and the years he lived from 1861 to 1944. On the back, common to the whole series, a landscape of fields appears Finns, framing an open book that represents a built urban environment.
