Four are the remaining months to end the year, same number as American Innovation series coins will be issued by the United States Mint in 2019. On September 19, the second of this series of coins with one dollar facials is issued. They can be purchased at face value in the United States. In 2018, the first of the collection that will last in time until 2032 was issued, with which it intends to honor innovation and innovators from each of the 50 states, the District of Columbia and the five territories of the United States: Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, U.S. Virgin Islands and the Northern Mariana Islands.

Four new currencies will be issued each year until 2032 in the order in which the states ratified the Constitution of the United States or were admitted to the Union. Once one currency is issued for each State, the coins for the District of Columbia and the territories will be released.

The one I present today, second in the series, presents Annie Jump Cannon, an internationally recognized astronomer born in Delaware who invented a system to classify the stars that are still used today.

The reverse design features the silhouette of Annie Jump Cannon over the night sky, with several visible stars. The inscriptions it presents, translated into Spanish are: «UNITED STATES OF AMERICA», «ANNIE JUMP CANNON», «CLASSIFYING THE STARS» and «DELAWARE».

American Innovation - Georgia (December 19)

The Currency of Georgia recognizes the Garden of the Trustees, established in the 1730s. It was the first experimental agricultural garden in America. The design of this coin represents a hand planting seeds, seeds from which the inscription “GARDEN OF THE TRUSTEES” is born and above the trees, plants and their fruits, of the varieties of species grown in the garden: an orange seedling, Sassafras, grapes, white mulberry, flax, peaches, olive, and a young sprout too small to be identified. Additional entries are "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "GEORGIA".
