The issuance for this coin is made up of 3 million pieces, of which 10,000 were coined in BU quality and were put on sale together with a euroset dedicated to the same theme, together with the rest of regular Italian circulation coins of 2018; another 5,000 in Proof quality were put on sale presented in a case.
