Within the series dedicated to the "Higher Education Teaching Centers of Ukraine", a coin with a 2 hryvnia facial was issued on July 25 coined on an alpaca alloy, also known as German silver, dedicated to the "Centennial of the National University of Oles Honchar of Dnipro ».
Obverse coin currency: at the top is the State Emblem of Ukraine, to the right of which is the inscription UKRAINE; in the center a stylized composition in the form of a circuit forms the number 100, behind it is a satellite in orbit and below it a book as a symbol of knowledge, the facial value 2 grivnas, the year of issue 2018 and the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine complete the design.
Reverse of the coin: shows in the center one of the buildings of the university, below which four diamond-shaped squares are shown with the years of foundation and current 1918-2108 and other reasons alluding to study and science. In the four corners left by the central motif, the full name of the University appears.
