The conflict between Ukraine and Russia is reflected in some of the currencies issued by the Bank of Ukraine in recent times, the last issued on January 30 in honor of the defenders of the Donetsk airport in the battle with the pro-Russian separatist militias. This coin that has been issued 1 million pieces can be purchased in Ukraine at face value, 10 hryvnias (does not reach € 0.3).

On the back of the coin is a stylized composition representing an airport defender, in the background a ruined tower on which the Ukrainian flag flies; on the right the word KIBORGY is shown. UA (Cyborgs of Ukraine), which is how these men were called who defended the airport, and lastly the dates "05-26-2014 / 21-01-2015", a period that lasted the conflict.

The coin shows on its obverse, in the center, a stylized composition with the hands of men with weapons from different eras, which symbolize the defenders of Ukraine in different times, with inscriptions of gratitude for them. Below on the left the name 10 grivnas appears on the stylized fragment of a shield. The composition is completed with the national coat of arms of Ukraine, the year of issue and the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.
