Once again, the Royal Canadian Mint has pushed the boundaries of numismatic art. It has produced a 3-D, 318.81 g (10 oz) .9999 fine silver $100 shaped as the Starship Enterprise (NCC-1701).

The 113.20 mm model is seamless. It has been struck from a single blank in considerable detail including the main bridge atop the saucer section, rounded warp nacelles extending from the secondary hull, and the deflector/sensor dish on the underside.

The overhead (reverse) view gives the starship’s name and registry code. The underside (obverse) shows Susanna Blunt’s effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, repeats the registry code and gives country of issue and denomination – all engraved in a Star Trek font. Mintage is 1,000.
