O nouă monedă comemorativă ucraineană - 09.10.2017

The second coin to be issued by the Bank of Ukraine tomorrow will also be 5 bryon hryven and belonging to the series that devotes to its regions (obblast), this time to the Khmelnitski, which also meet 80 years of its foundation in 2017. In this coin and in all of the series on one of their faces are shown characteristic images of the area, such as monuments, emblematic buildings or industries that live their villages, and the other appears the shield of the region.

Situated in the southwest of the Eastern European Plain in a wooded area, the Jmelnitski Oblast boasts a unique combination of ancient historical and architectural monuments and picturesque landscapes where there are more than three thousand rivers and streams. It also has an important number of companies, whose products are highly valued both in Ukraine and abroad.




The obverse shows at the top the emblem of the State of Ukraine, inscriptions: National Bank of Ukraine (above), five hryven (below), right the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine; in the center, at the top a symbol of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, below the castle of Ostrog, to its right the church of Starokonstantinov, below a combine with a bouquet formed by agricultural products that are grown in the area : sunflowers, corn, wheat ...  


The reverse of the coin represents the coat of arms of the region, in the ring are inscriptions: region of Khmelnitski (above), founded in 1937 (below).
