I will show you the first image of what will be the first commemorative 2-euro coin issued by San Marino in 2017, dedicated to the "750th Anniversary of the Birth of Giotto". The image has been facilitated by Gerhard Schön, whom I take to thank him for his deference with Numismatic Visual.
The image of the coin corresponds to a design by Luciana de Simoni, which shows Giotto di Bondone on the right, between the character and the bell tower of the Cathedral of Florence that bears the name of Giotto since the project and The construction of the structure is the work of Giotto, and written vertically, the name of the issuing state "SAN MARINO", to the left of the central ring and also vertically the legend "GIOTTO 1267 - 2017.
The issue of the coin is announced for next March 30, with an issue volume of 70,500 coins.
