The Bank of Ukraine issued on 23 June, two coins with face 2 and 5 Hryven struck one in alpaca and the other in silver, both with the same design but one with a few notes of color, dedicated to commemorate the 50th anniversary of National University of economics Ternopil; higher education institution, established as a branch of the financial and economic faculty of Kiev in 1966.
On the front and above represented the small National Emblem of Ukraine, with the inscription Ukraine, in the center logo of the National University of Economics Ternopil, the year of issue 2016 left; face value, either 2 or 5 Hryven and logo of the National Bank of Ukraine.

The currency of 5 Hryven, has tape University logo colored with the colors of the flag of Ukraine.
