O nouă monedă de 5 zloţi dedicată oraşului Poznan a fost emisă în Polonia - 22.10.2015

The third coin of the "Discover Poland" series is broadcast on 6 November. With facial of 5 zlotych, bimetallic and working, this time is dedicated to the city of Poznan, highlighting the building's own Renaissance town hall reconstructed by Italian architect Giovanni Battista di Quatro, between the years 1550-1560.

City Hall Poznan


Rebuilt in the XVI century in Renaissance style, the building of the City of Poznan is located in the center of the Market Square and in the stands a spectacular tower that rises from the center of the building. The facade consists of three floors above arcades and is topped by three towers where the bells are.

The event of every day in the marketplace occurs in the clock tower of the City, when two mechanical kids mark noon.

Royal Castle in Warsaw

The Royal Castle in Warsaw (Polish: Zamek Królewski w Warszawie) is a neo-Baroque palace located in the old part of Warsaw (Poland). It was the official residence of the Polish king until 1795, year in which disappeared the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.

Today it houses the Polish Foundation for History and Culture, which has restructured and conditioning of the castle as a museum, the Castle Museum. This castle is the starting point of the tour "Royal Route" in Warsaw (Trakt Królewski).

Canal Bydgoski

One of the most interesting monuments of the city of Bydgoszcz, was built in the late eighteenth century, the Bydgoski Canal (Polish Kanał Bydgoski), is 27 kilometers long and links two rivers, the Brda in Bydgoszcz and Notec near Nakło uniting river navigation systems in Western Europe and Eastern Europe.

In the late nineteenth century he sailed by steamship carrying 500 tons of cargo a year.The park that is spreading passes both banks of the canal, has 40 black poplars that are part of this complex which is a monument of nature.
